How Much Does Botox Cost in NYC in 2026? Real Prices From Real Clinics

Last updated: February 2026

You're thinking about getting Botox in New York City, and the first thing you want to know is: how much is this actually going to cost me?

If you've Googled this already, you probably found a bunch of clinic blog posts giving you vague ranges like "$10 to $25 per unit" and then a pitch to book a consultation. That's not helpful — it's marketing.

We did something different. GlassyIndex tracks actual pricing data from clinics across the NYC metro area, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, and Northern New Jersey. Here's what Botox (and its alternatives) actually costs in 2026, based on published clinic prices and patient-reported data.

The Quick Answer

Per unit: $12–$20 at most medspas. $17–$22 at dermatologist offices. Up to $35+ at premium plastic surgery practices.

Per treatment area (forehead, crow's feet, or frown lines): $250–$525 at medspas. $500–$800 at dermatology practices.

Full upper face (all three areas): $450–$900 at most places. Over $1,000 at high-end practices.

But those ranges only tell part of the story. The real answer depends on what brand you're getting, how your clinic prices it, and whether you're paying per unit or per area.

What You'll Actually Pay: Brand-by-Brand Breakdown

One thing most pricing guides skip over: "Botox" is just one brand. There are now six FDA-approved neuromodulators on the market, and they're all priced differently. This matters because a clinic advertising "$10/unit" might be injecting Xeomin or Letybo — not Botox.

Here's what we're seeing across NYC metro clinics in our database:

Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA)

The original. Most name recognition, and generally the most expensive per unit.

Price PointWhere You'll Find It
$12/unitBudget medspas (Skin Envy, Stay Ageless)
$14–$16/unitMid-range chains (Plump, Trifecta, SkinTight, UPKEEP)
$15–$18/unitEstablished medspas (Evolve, Selfie House, Tribeca Medspa)
$17–$20/unitDermatologists and physician-led practices
$22+/unitPremium plastic surgeons

A typical Botox session for the "trifecta" — forehead lines, frown lines, and crow's feet — uses about 40–60 units. At $15/unit, that's $600–$900. At $12/unit, it's $480–$720.

Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA)

Dysport uses a different unit measurement than Botox. The conversion is roughly 2.5–3 Dysport units = 1 Botox unit, so the per-unit price is lower but you need more units. The total cost usually comes out similar to Botox, sometimes slightly less.

Price PointWhere You'll Find It
$3.60–$5/unitValue clinics (NYC Rejuvenation, UPKEEP)
$6/unitMid-range (Tribeca Medspa, Center Aesthetic)
$13/unitSeveral NJ locations (Evolve Med Spa chain)
$15–$16/unitManhattan medspas (Ratio NYC, Trifecta, SkinTight)

At the Dysport conversion ratio, 40 Botox-equivalent units would require roughly 100–120 Dysport units. At $6/unit, that's $600–$720. At $13/unit it's higher, which is why it's worth asking whether a clinic's Dysport pricing actually saves you money.

Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA)

Xeomin is "naked Botox" — same active ingredient, no complexing proteins. Unit-for-unit equivalent to Botox, usually priced slightly lower.

Price PointWhere You'll Find It
$10/unitEvolve Med Spa (all locations)
$12/unitStay Ageless
$14/unitTrifecta Med Spa
$15/unitRatio NYC
$18/unitTribeca Medspa

If you're comfortable with a less well-known brand, Xeomin can save you 15–25% compared to Botox at the same clinic.

Jeuveau (prabotulinumtoxinA)

Marketed as "Newtox" — specifically designed for cosmetic use. Unit-for-unit equivalent to Botox. Often priced aggressively since it's the newest entrant.

Price PointWhere You'll Find It
$10–$11/unitHello Hydration (NJ), Skin Envy, BHRC Totowa
$12/unitSelfie House, Stay Ageless, Hello Hydration (Paramus/Parsippany)
$16/unitSkinTight MedSpa

Jeuveau tends to be one of the most affordable options at clinics that carry it.

Daxxify (daxibotulinumtoxinA)

The "long-lasting Botox" — results can last 6–9 months instead of 3–4. Newer, pricier, and not available everywhere.

Price PointWhere You'll Find It
$7–$8/unitSelfie House, Trifecta Med Spa
$12/unitStay Ageless, Tribeca Medspa

The per-unit price looks comparable to Botox, but you may need fewer treatments per year. If Daxxify lasts twice as long for you, the annual cost could actually be lower.

Letybo (letibotulinumtoxinA)

The newest arrival. Korean-made, FDA-approved in 2024. Still limited availability, but growing fast — especially at chain medspas.

Price PointWhere You'll Find It
$10/unitEvolve Med Spa (all locations)
$10.50/unitJuvly (NYC, nationwide chain)
$850–$900 flat rateJuvly (full treatment, unlimited units)

Juvly's flat-rate model is interesting — you pay $850–$900 for a full Letybo treatment regardless of how many units you need. If you're someone who needs 60+ units, that could be a better deal than per-unit pricing. At $10.50/unit, 60 units would be $630, so the flat rate only makes sense if you need 80+ units or want the simplicity of one price.

How Many Units Will You Need?

This is the missing piece most pricing guides leave out. Knowing the per-unit cost is useless if you don't know how many units your treatment area typically requires. Here's what to expect for Botox (Xeomin and Jeuveau use the same unit scale; Dysport requires roughly 2.5–3x the units):

Treatment AreaTypical Range (Botox units)Average Total Cost at $15/unit
Forehead lines10–30$150–$450
Frown lines (11s)15–25$225–$375
Crow's feet (both sides)12–24$180–$360
Full upper face (all three)40–60$600–$900
Lip flip4–10$60–$150
Brow lift4–10$60–$150
Bunny lines5–10$75–$150
Gummy smile2–6$30–$90
Chin (dimpling)4–8$60–$120
Masseter / jawline slimming25–50 per side$750–$1,500
Neck bands (platysma)20–40$300–$600
DAO (downturned mouth)4–8$60–$120
Trapezius (Barbie Botox)40–80 per side$1,200–$2,400
Underarm sweating50 per side$1,500

A few things to keep in mind: men generally need more units than women (stronger facial muscles), and someone treating deep-set lines will need more than someone doing preventative Botox at 28. Your injector should give you an exact unit count before starting — if they won't, that's a red flag.

The "full upper face" trifecta is by far the most common treatment. If you're a first-timer, budget for 40–60 Botox units and multiply by whatever per-unit rate you're quoted. That's your real cost.

Per-Unit vs. Per-Area: Why It Matters

This is where pricing gets confusing, and where people get surprised by their bill.

Per-unit pricing means you pay for exactly how many units the injector uses. If you need 20 units for your forehead and they charge $15/unit, that's $300. If your friend needs 30 units for the same area, she pays $450. You pay for what you use.

Per-area pricing means you pay a flat fee for a treatment zone — say, $525 for "forehead" — regardless of how many units go in. This can work in your favor if you need a lot of units, or against you if you only need a small dose.

Here's what per-area pricing looks like across NYC:

Area TreatmentPrice Range
Lip flip$56–$200
Gummy smile$100–$199
Brow lift$100–$199
Single area (forehead, 11s, or crow's feet)$295–$525
Full upper face (3 areas)$450–$995
Masseter / jawline slimming$599–$1,000
Neck bands$599–$999
Underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis)$1,120+

Some clinics — like Plump, Therapie, and BeautyFix — exclusively use per-area pricing. Others like Tribeca Medspa and Evolve exclusively use per-unit. A few offer both options.

Our take: Per-unit pricing is more transparent. You can do the math yourself and compare across clinics. Per-area pricing can be fine, but always ask how many units are included and what happens if you need more.

The Membership and Banking Game

Many NYC clinics offer ways to lock in lower per-unit prices:

Botox banking: Buy units in bulk upfront. Tribeca Medspa offers 70-unit Botox banks at $18/unit (their standard rate), which is their lowest per-unit price. NYC Rejuvenation Clinic offers 200-unit banks at $8/unit.

Memberships: Plump offers member pricing at $14/unit vs. $16/unit regular — a 12.5% discount. Worth it if you're going regularly.

First-time offers: Therapie Clinic offers areas at $395 for first visits vs. $495 regular. Elite Aesthetics drops to $10/unit for new patients.

Groupon/deal sites: We see prices as low as $265 for 40 units ($6.63/unit), but be cautious — verify the injector's credentials and what brand you're getting.

What Real Patients Are Paying

The prices above are what clinics list. Here's what patients have actually reported paying in the NYC metro:

  • $265 for 40 units via Groupon — Manhattan medspa
  • $270 for 18 units ($15/unit) — Manhattan dermatologist
  • $320 for 40 units ($8/unit) — Queens, regular pricing
  • $450 for forehead + frown lines + crow's feet — Upper East Side dermatologist
  • $550 for full upper face — Manhattan, membership price
  • $652 for forehead + 11s + crow's feet — NJ medspa
  • $700 for 35 units ($20/unit) — board-certified dermatologist, Manhattan
  • $900 for masseters + brow + temples + forehead — Brooklyn dermatology

The spread is real. Patients in our database are paying anywhere from $6.63/unit (Groupon deals) to $20/unit (premium dermatologist offices) for functionally the same treatment.

Manhattan vs. Brooklyn vs. NJ: Does Location Matter?

Yes, but maybe not as much as you'd think.

Manhattan has the widest range. Budget medspas start at $12–$15/unit, mid-range sits at $15–$18, and premium dermatologists and plastic surgeons charge $20–$35. Per-area pricing ranges from $295 to $900+.

Brooklyn is slightly cheaper on average. Budget options around $12/unit (Skin Envy), with Plump Brooklyn at $16/unit and Brooklyn Dermatology at $800/area for their premium dermatology service.

Northern NJ (Hoboken, Jersey City, Short Hills, Montclair) offers some of the best value. Evolve Med Spa prices Botox at $15/unit across all locations. Hello Hydration in Hoboken is $14/unit. Plump Hoboken matches Brooklyn/Manhattan pricing at $16/unit.

Long Island is competitive too — Stay Ageless offers $12/unit for Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau, and even Daxxify, making it one of the most affordable options in the metro area.

If you're willing to cross a bridge or take the PATH train, NJ and outer borough clinics can save you 15–30% compared to Manhattan's midtown and UES prices.

How to Not Overpay: 7 Things to Check

  1. Ask which brand they're using. "$10/unit Botox" might actually be Xeomin or Letybo. Not necessarily a problem, but you should know.

  2. Ask for the total unit estimate before they inject. A good injector will tell you exactly how many units they're planning and what the total will be.

  3. Compare per-unit, not per-area. If a clinic charges $400/area and uses 20 units, that's $20/unit. The one charging $15/unit for 20 units is $300 — same result, $100 less.

  4. Factor in consultation fees. Some practices charge $50–$350 for a consultation, which may or may not be credited toward your treatment.

  5. Check if touch-ups are included. Some clinics offer free 2-week follow-ups to adjust. Others charge for every unit.

  6. Look into the Allē rewards program. Allergan's loyalty program gives you points toward future Botox treatments. Most clinics participate.

  7. Consider the annual cost, not just per visit. Botox lasts 3–4 months, so you're looking at 3–4 sessions per year. At $600/session, that's $1,800–$2,400 annually. Daxxify at similar per-session cost but lasting 6+ months could cut that in half.

Bottom Line

A standard Botox treatment for the three main areas (forehead, frown lines, crow's feet) costs $450–$900 at most NYC metro clinics in 2026. You can find it for less at budget medspas or with deals, and you'll pay more at premium dermatology practices.

The biggest factor in your final bill isn't the brand or the clinic's zip code — it's the pricing model (per-unit vs. per-area) and how many units your face needs. Always ask for a unit count before committing.

That said, price is only one part of the equation. An experienced, board-certified injector who charges a bit more may deliver better results — and help you avoid the cost of corrections down the line. Use pricing data to understand what's fair, then choose your provider based on skill and trust.
