Our Commitment

GlassyIndex is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to make our platform usable by the widest possible audience.

Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

What We Do

Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements on our site can be accessed using a keyboard alone. A visible focus indicator shows which element is currently selected.

Screen reader support — We use semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and landmarks to ensure screen readers can accurately convey the content and structure of our pages.

Color contrast — Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast requirements to ensure readability for users with low vision or color vision deficiency.

Skip navigation — A skip-to-content link is available on every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation.

Alt text — Images include descriptive alternative text so screen reader users understand visual content.

Responsive design — Our site adapts to different screen sizes and supports text resizing without loss of functionality.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may still need improvement. Third-party content, including embedded maps and authentication interfaces, may not fully conform to WCAG standards. We are working with our service providers to address these limitations.
